   When I saw a free cookbook from Gooseberry Patch I was excited! There are more than 20 recipes in here. This cookbook is a collection of recipes using pumpkin. While a lot of the recipes use canned pumpkin, you could use fresh pumpkin. Most of the recipes are desserts or snacks. There are a handful of recipes that would be for lunch or dinner. Pumpkin tends to be a seasonal item so you may not have that on hand. Make sure to stock up on pumpkin, it can be hard to find. You would have all the other ingredients on hand to make these easy recipes. This cookbook is very kid-friendly, a child could help make any of these delicious sounding recipes. If you enjoy cooking simple but yummy food, you'll find something in here to make. Recipes that stood out to me are Pumpkin Fudge and Dinner in a Pumpkin - you actually cook the dinner inside the pumpkin. That would look beautiful on the table! Nestled in between recipes are charming pictures and tips on decorating with pumpkins. There is even a recipe to make your own Pumpkin Pie Spice. I would recommend this cookbook for seasoned cooks and those new to the world of cooking. This cookbook was a free amazon kindle ebook download.

   This is a yummy little cookbook! Not that I expected anything less seeing as how it is from Gooseberry Patch! Don't you just LOVE their recipes'?!?! Even though e book is not my favorite way to read and use cookbooks (BY FAR!)if that is what you can get, you take it! Did discover a very neat thing while baking one of these recipe's off my iPod with 2 kids helping...Yikes!! Slipped my iPod in a Ziploc baggie and zipped it shut. We spilled on it twice, were able to turn the page on the recipe book This is a yummy little cookbook! Not that I expected anything less seeing as how it is from Gooseberry Patch! Don't you just LOVE their recipes'?!?! Even though e book is not my favorite way to read and use cookbooks (BY FAR!)if that is what you can get, you take it! Did discover a very neat thing while baking one of these recipe's off my iPod with 2 kids helping...Yikes!! Slipped my iPod in a Ziploc baggie and zipped it shut. We spilled on it twice, were able to turn the page on the recipe book through the plastic without any trouble and when we were done...Clean and safe machine...Next time I'm trying it with a quart bag and my Kindle cause I have a recipe on there I've been wanting to try!!

   This little Amazon freebie contained over 20 pumpkin recipes and also some tips on decorating with pumpkins and for Thanksgiving. I liked the idea about using little sugar pumpkins as bowls for soup and stews. I usually do not like cookbooks on my Kindle but I would never turn down a free cookbook. This book lived up to the Gooseberry Patch name.
