This is a discouraging book that everyone should read. I do not suppose such stories do one thing to prevent senseless killing anywhere. It does point out how some countries interfere in countries such as those in Africa. This sets up situations where genocide takes place and we seem disinterested in preventing these crimes. This book would appeal to those who like a good story, good writing, good translation, political history, description of country and people.
