There is some good timeless material here regarding promoting, making contacts and marketing your work. Unfortunately, this type of book is a victim of a frequently changing marketplace. It's 10 years old as of this review but, in many ways, it may as well be 40, and not only for the number of times it mentions things like VHS and CD. It does mention the importance of a website, but obviously is behind the times when it comes to exploring more digital options and social networking.
