Big is about a 12 year old boy named Josh Baskin, who wishes he was big when he feels he can't impress the girl he likes. He makes his wish at a carnival to a Zoltar machine. When he wakes up the next morning he finds that physically, he is an adult. His mother, thinking he is an intruder attacks him and he runs. The story continues with Josh getting a job at a toy company, and becoming very successful through his "child like" inspiration. As time goes on however, Josh realizes he can't grow up this fast and he finds another Zoltar and becomes a kid again. Big is a very fun story, full of very interesting characters and situations. It's teaches a great lesson about family and growing up. It's one step at a time. We don't need to grow up right away. We need to cherish the time we have with our families. I would recommend this to pretty much anyone. It's a bunch of fun and full of humor. Most people could enjoy this story.
