   This is one of those books that you can pick up and read a little bit, put away and come back to it later and read something different. It has history of the Rosary, devotions, and meditations on the Mysteries. I learned a lot and have taken it to prayer time on many occassions. Have read and re-read many sections, especially the Rosary meditations. It is an older book and does not have meditations on the Luminous Mysteries.

   Hands down the best book on the history of this devotion! All kinds of scriptural references and interesting historical and theological insights on the rosary and its mysteries. If you read only one book about the rosary, make it this one!
