Loving Claremont's X-men. Glad I've finally gotten around to reading the rest of his run. Loving Claremont's X-men. Glad I've finally gotten around to reading the rest of his run.

I loved it, it's classic Uncanny X-Men. I'm not very familiar with the New Mutants so it was great to learn more about them. I particularly liked the battle between the X-Men and the Godzilla style monster in Tokyo. The story of Rogue and Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel, was also really cool because it loosely follows the events in the television animated series. Not being familiar with the events leading up these stories, I had questions about why Professor X can walk and Storm's unusual appearance. These questions were somewhat answered, but regardless of that it was an excellent read overall. Plus I found the stories relevant since they tie into the Secret Wars, which I'm just getting into, so for me that's a bonus.
