    Really good book. The town librarian is murdered and Deputy Sheriff Holt is assigned to solve the case. That also meant looking into the secrets of the Assistant Librarian, Molly Brewster, who Holt believes is telling less than she knows. Over a period of time which also dealt with the sensitive issues of spousal abuse, adultery and guilt over his partner's death, Deputy Holt solves the mystery and wins the hand of his librarian love. The guilty party could have been identified way earlier in th Really good book. The town librarian is murdered and Deputy Sheriff Holt is assigned to solve the case.
